Maros comprehensive data project – Update August
Our pilot project in Maros, supported by TLM NL, began in June with data collection after intensive training. The initiative aims to establish the most comprehensive database of persons affected by leprosy. Our five young scholars from the Sasakawa Young Scholar Initiative have done a great job designing their own small projects, and are now putting them into action. Arfah started to create a vegetable garden together with the residents of the Jongaya Safe House; Iyan is preparing a portfolio of photographs

August activities of our Misereor-SHF project
This August, we will have again several trainings of young PerMaTa teams: In Gowa, Majene and Sidrap. The regular activities in Soppeng, Sinjai, Bone and Polman will continue. August will also bring a CBR exchange visit to Sumba for Arfah from management and Hikma and Sri Wahyuni from the district
