All components of our care and rehabilitation project supported by TLM NL have now started. We are in discussions with the former leprosy hospital RSTC regarding an MOU to assist patients who are not sufficiently covered by health insurance. We are surveying prosthetic workshops to build stronger networks and improve access. The Safe House in Jongaya is undergoing renovation, with a separate women’s track being established. The residents of the Safe House are trained twice daily by our team of lay therapists, and we are also exploring further vocational training opportunities for them. In addition, we have begun planning Prevention-of-Disability training for leprosy workers, and we are collaborating closely with surgeons to prepare for another round of reconstructive surgeries this year. There is much to do, and we are grateful for the support of TLM NL—thank you!
