The German Embassy in Jakarta is supporting us in renovating the dormitory and the policlinic in the leprosy village of Jongaya in Makassar, South Sulawesi! This will enable us to offer people in need a “Rumah Aman”, a safe house where they can live for a while to recover from stigma and discrimination in their home communities, or receive health care and rehabilitation services in the former leprosy hospital in Makassar.
The renovation work has now started, the ceiling and floor of the dormitory have already been repaired! Thank you very much, German Embassy in Jakarta!
